Assessment centre for a talent programme

Initial situation

The employees with the best potential for a leading executive position needed to be identified for participation in a talent programme.

Intervention and solution

changeways reworked the existing competence profile of the company and expanded the assessment centre. The multilevel selection process was supported through the use of an online-potential-analyser. A sparring partner (acting) assisted with the conversation simulations during the assessment centre. In addition to the final decision for the talent programme, all participants were analysed for their individual areas for growth.

International development centre for management and upper-management functions

Initial situation

In the diverse markets of an international industrial enterprise, the potential for leading executives was to be determined.

Intervention and solution

changeways designed and lead a development centre based on the competence profile of the company. Potentials within the target group were observed and assessed in real-life scenarios and future-oriented exercises.  A sparring partner (acting) assisted with the conversation simulations during the assessment centre. The potentials individual areas for growth  were subsequently determined based on the results of the research.

Examination at the conclusion of a training programme

Initial situation

The employees of a trade organisation received training for their relevant roles through a qualification programme carried out over several weeks. At the conclusion of the programme, the target group was reviewed using a validated process in compliance with industry-wide certification criteria.

Intervention and solution

changeways developed a final assessment for the qualification programme. In addition to an evaluation by the respective manager, the employee was asked to complete various oral and practical exercises, as well as a test on their knowledge. The assessment was based on predetermined behavioural anchors. The individual results were summarised in the form of a report.
